Did you know that 61.6 million people live in Italy? Also the Leaning Tower of Pisa has been leaning for 840 years. Italy is known for the heaps of different kinds of bread, Trevi Fountain , masked balls and more.
Leaning Tower of Pisa
Over 1,000,000 people visit the tower every year. Some people think that the Leaning Tower of Pisa might fall in about 200 years, however a restoration project around ten years over may have saved it, only time will tell. The Leaning Tower of Pisa was Built by Bonanno Pisano and took two centuries to build.R
Masked Balls
The dress code for a masked ball/masked parade/Party is something semi formal and also should have a theme to it with a matching mask. Masquerade balls were a part of the carnival season in 15th century. In the 16th century they turned into a costumed party for the upper class.
Trevi Fountain
There are lots of different statues and water fountains that have survived for centuries.
The Trevi Fountain was designed by Italian architect Nicola Salvi and completed by Giuseppe Pannini. The Trevi Fountain was finished in 1762 and took 30 years to build. The legend of the Trevi Fountain is to throw three coins in. One for your return to Italy, another for a new romance, and the last for a happy marriage.
Bread in Italy
Italy has many different kinds of bread such as: Pizza Bianca, Pane di Lariano, Rosette, Ciabatta, Pane di Genzano, Taralli and Friselle. Did you know that that some types of pizza were invented there?
