Letters

In reading we had to choose an assignment about the book we are reading then complete and post it on our blog, the assignment I choose was number 18. Write a letter to a character in the book or a letter from one character to another. I found this assignment really enjoyable because I was writing a letter to someone I had read about in the book. The book this is based off is called the A Gown of Spanish lace. I used google slides to complete this. Would you like to write a letter to one of your favourite story characters?

Unanswered Questions

In reading we had to choose an activity and then complete. I choose activity 21. Make a list of “lingering questions” you have after finishing the book. The book I choose was called A Gown of Spanish Lace it was my Mum's old book. The thing I found hard was that there wasn't lots of lingering question for me at the end of the book. I used google slides to complete this activity. What things do you wonder at the end of books?

Back in the day

The book I choose is called Back in the day, I really enjoyed it, it's a must read for girls. Pretty Pepeha

In Te Reo we had to make our own Pepeha. A Pepeha is where you formally and traditionally introduce yourself in Maori. I couldn't find a bitmoji that resembled me or my family so I had to use photos. It's pretty Plain but I hope you enjoy it! If there is any Thing that would help you understand it better please say below.

Tough Tournament Reflection

Last week the teachers choose out a 9 player netball team for a 6 aside netball tournament at Haeata. We played 6 really hard games and came out third so we're going through to Canterburys. The R we used really well was reciprocity because we worked well in a team. We lost two hard games and won six. I think next time we need to improve our defence because there were really tall girls there. I learnt it is really important to work as a team because if you don't then the other team gets past. If I could do it again I would have played a game with my team before because we had never played an actual game together before. I think I did really well and grabbed lots of balls! It was lots of fun!

Did you like the ending?

On Mondays we have Book Club as usaul I choose the Explorer. What we had to do was read our book club book then answer the new Question. the Questio was: Did your book end the way you wanted it to?
