Marvellous Mash-up

Hey Bloggers this blog post will include a maths and literacy post! Have you enjoyed being back at school, or would you rather continue distance learning?

Maths
In maths we have started algebra and had the choice of doing our work in our book or on our computer, I choose to do it on my book because I find it easier to work with. So far I have found the algebra very easy. I used to be a bit worried about algebra, but am not anymore. We have also learnt how to use python code on a website called kaggle. It's a bit weird because the multiplication sign is this: *. And the Division sign is this: /. So the problems turned out to look like this:

Have you used python before? Did you like using it? Was it hard for you?

Literacy
In literacy this week we have been given the task to do a Wonderful Wizard of Oz website it must contain at the minimum, the importance of 3 characters in the book, the importance of 3 symbols in the book and 3 themes in the book. So far I haven't done that much of the website so I won't give you the link to it but I will show you one of my characters blurb. Do you agree with me about how important Aunt Em is to Dorothy? Do you like the book the Wonderful Wizard of Oz, have you read it?

What have you done in maths and literacy this week? Did you enjoy it?
Bye Bloggers, Soph :)
